You are not too much: how to stop shrinking your needs
If you have spent years shrinking your needs to keep the peace, this is a gentle invitation to take up your full size again.

Somewhere along the way, you may have decided that your needs were an inconvenience. That to be loved, you had to be easy, low-maintenance, undemanding. So you made yourself smaller. And it worked, until it quietly cost you yourself.
Where the belief comes from
No one is born believing they are too much. It is taught, often by people who could not meet a feeling and so called the feeling the problem. A big emotion met with discomfort becomes, in a child mind, proof that the emotion was wrong.
Your needs were never too much. They simply met people who had too little room.
Coming back to your full size
Healing here is the slow practice of letting yourself want things again, and discovering that the right people do not flinch. You get to be a whole person with a whole heart. That was always allowed.
